Applying for wife's OCI

Post by nehalbhagat » Wed May 07, 2014 8:06 am

Hello friends,

I am applying on behalf of my wife with following documents, I will appreciate if you advise for missing document
1. Completed OCI application form
2. One photo as per guidline
3.Surrender certificate
4.photocopy of her passport
5.photocopy of her naturilisation certificate
6.Marriage certificate to support name change ( previously she had her father's name and surname )
7.fee £175

Do I have to provide my OCI Passport copies to support her application ?

Please can someone advise how online booking system works ?
Once you book an appointment, Do you still have to queue up before 10.30 for tokens or you just go at designated time ?
I will appreciate if someone can advise on submitting documents as per new system

regards

Do I have to carry my passport or my wife's passport to enter high commission ?
On appointment letter , it says " Entry into HCI is regulated by presenting valid passport and OCI application along with application letter "

Please member advise..

You will be asked to show the appointment letter, if the appointment is someone else's name, you have to prove that you are applying for family member. Carry Both Indian & British Passport of the applicant just in case if they want to see originals.
