Time between arrival of OCI and submission of passport

Hi Guys,

Can someone tell me how much time the High Commission of India in UK allow between arrival of OCI documents at the HCI office in UK and submission of passports in original? Going by the timelines posted on this forum, I am expecting my OCI documents to arrive in HCI, London around the 1st week of May 2015 but I have booked travel for 2 weeks around that time and therefore will not be able to send my passports to the commission before mid-May. I was wondering if such a delay (2-weeks) is acceptable.

Any advice / guideline will be much appreciated

Elsewhere in the forum some have sucessfully got their stamped passport back with OCI card really quickly by talking to HCI london and submitting a copy of the travel documents ...
