travelling to india after british passport

Hi All
I got the british passport and haven't surrendered the indian passport. planing to travel to india with the indian passport.

having looked at the vfs website it looks like when i apply for the surrender certificate i'll have to pay the fine for travelling with the indian passport. i'm prepared to pay the fine because i haven't got any chance or time to apply for the surrender certificate and apply for the indian visa after getting the surrender certificate.

will i have significant problems like i won't be allowed to travel at all because i have got the british passport or when i land in bangalore at the immigration check will they refuse entry?

Pls advice as i'm very stressed due to this.
