Hi,
I sponsored a family to come an visi me if they told me that they would like to come and visit me .

One they arrived they applied for asylum, i am worried this may impact my current visa status and future application, is that correct?
i wasn't aware that they are going to apply for asylum in the UK and was not aware of the issues that they were having in the home country

Please advice
