Need advice - Applying in person

Hi

My work permit expires in 08/01/2013 when I plan on applying for ILR. I was hoping to apply in person as I need to travel end of March and need my passport. However there does not seem to be any appointments available, how do I go about getting an appointment?

Hello AfricanSkies,

Appointments can be made only 42 days prior to your application date.

If you visa is valid until 1st Jan 2013, you should start looking for the appointment dates anytime from/after 27th Nov 2012.

Again depends if you have entered into the UK within 90 days of your Entry Clearance, then you can look for an appointment from the (28 days) date 11th Dec 2012 (so 42 days prior to 11th Dec) would be 30th Oct 2012.
