Workpermit for UK

Post by Martijn » Sat Mar 24, 2007 4:40 am

Me and my girlfriend would like to start a future in the UK.

Our situation is this:

She is Chilean and i am Dutch. As we both speak fluent english (this is also the way we communicate between eachother) and the dutch immigration service is terrible, we really finally want to be together somewhere in the UK.

We both want to find a job, to be able to pay our own home and offcourse the expences that comes with it. After a year or so we also want to start a new study.

Now, does anyone know how we can do this as best as possible? Would a little job in an hotel be a good start?

Please help us.

Start by going through the various schemes listed on http://www.workingintheuk.gov.uk/workin ... epage.html

Start with HSMP first, if you can get in via that route, that is the most flexible one.

Why do not you just marry her. I believe that is the simplest solution.
