Set O form query for Biometric resident permit

Dear Members and Gurus,

I have an appointment with Cardiff PEO in 3 weeks time for work permit ILR.Need help to correctly fill the form

1)as my BRP appointment will be on same day as my ILR appointment at the PEO,in Section 10 it says go to question 7.I don't remember when my biometric was taken as I had 2 previous visa granted one in Dec 2006 and other in Dec 2007 and finally work permit in March 2009.
Google says biometric were introduced in 2007 in Mumbai VAF.So I assume mine were taken in Dec 2007.
Could you help what I should fill in question 8.

2)I will be submitting carbon copies of all documents.are we allowed to use a highlighter to mark specific dates or salary in contract etc on carbon copies.

3)I assume by now we are certain about 180 days.its for one year calculated backwards from date of application and not 180 days in 5 years. I have total 240 days outside Uk in 5 years,all paid annual leave with proof from company attached.Am I safe?

4)is covering letter a must?

5)Section 11-11B: Documents confirming that You have spent a continuous period of 5 years in the Uk either as a work permit holder
1) I am providing Employers letter stating I worked through out the time.2)full list of days worked and annual leave taken,basically covering my entire work schedule for last 5 yr from employer 3) last 3 p60 form,I misplaced my 1 yr p60? Are these documents sufficient?
