Any travelling restrictions for spouses on an Ancestral Visa

Post by saws » Mon Jun 04, 2007 10:52 pm

I've been over here with my wife for the past year on an ancestral visa from Canada, thru my mother's side of the family. My question is whether my wife can travel on her own or whether she requires me to be there to get thru immigration?

Her passports UK Visa page contains the term 'to acc spouse', which i'm assuming means 'to accompany', where it says 'type of visa'. Whereas mine says 'uk ancestry - employment'.

We've got a medical emergency that I may need to go back to Canada for ahead of her.

Anyone know if there will be any problems if she attempts to leave with me already gone?
Thanks in advance
Daryl

No, that won't cause any problem at all.
