PR with gap of 3.5 months

Hi All,

I worked in UK (Work Permit) for 12 months and then left for India.
However, before leaving for India I got offer from another UK company
who started processing my Work Permit.
However, Work permit processing took bit longer and I could come back
to UK again afer 3.5 months.
I have completed almost 3 years on my current workt permit.

I know that for PR there should not be more than 3 months gap. In my
case it will be 3.5 months, i.e. 2 weeks more.

If I apply for PR are there any chances if HO will consider these 2
weeks extra gap?

Is there any way?

I dont want to waste 1 year + 3.5 months just for this 2 weeks extra gap.

Any advice?
