UK fiance visa worry

HI hope someone can ease my worries over this 4 months ago I was refused my fiance visa to the USA I was to honest at my medical and admitted that back in 1996 i had smoked cannibas which has also resulted in me on not being allowed to travel to the USA for 3 years,now in the next couple of months my American girlfriend is going to apply for a fiance visa to come to the UK my worry is that if they see that I was refused a US fiance visa and not able to travel to the USA that this may go againest her if anyone has any info to ease my fears be very grateful and just to add Im British from birth and in Northern Ireland and was the US embassy in London refused my visa

I really don't see how UK immigration could possibly know that you were denied a US visa, unless you volunteered that information yourself (you shouldn't).

1. Why would, and how can, the British embassy in the US know about YOUR application to the US embassy in the UK?
2. Why would another person have to put down YOUR visa applications?

I don't know much about US/UK applications, but I'm pretty sure your girlfriend doesn't need to mention that much about you, especially not your own visa application history. They want to know about HER, her history, her convictions, etc, not yours...well, unless it's serious! So in the end, your visa rejection should be no problem whatsoever, it is not something the UK authorities should need to know about her. Like Marco72 mentions, you can tell them the US rejected you, or that you smoked pot, whatever. There isn't a section for that, though!
Maybe you should take a peek at the fiancee visa form and see what they require?
