Leave outside the Rules LOTR

Post by zalimet » Sat Jun 23, 2007 12:00 pm

Greetings I need some help, I submitted an application see my previous thread http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=15952 to get further leave because of personal circumstances I received a call from the caseworker she said that I did not mentioned in my letter that I wanted to be considered under the LOTR what I did I left it open for them to decide which she cannot do but I have to state that myself.

Today I received the previous application and I have 28 days to resubmit or I will lose the £400. There was a new FLR(O) enclosed. I want to resubmit to show that I want to be considered outside the rules but the question remains:-

2. Should I use the FLR(O) to resubmit my LOTR application to the address on that form because the website says this link with the address for FLR(O)http://www.ind.homeoffice.gov.uk/6353/1 ... resses.pdf says deals with search cases the addess on the FLR(O) and on the website are different just the P.O. Boxes.

I do not know that there is a specific form for search cases/application, what should I do? I am confused as to where to rebubmit it.

Can someone help?

I really don't understand what the pressing circumstance is that you require FLR outside of the rules...but good luck anyway.

I guess if you were given another form with a return address, then use that one. You might want to try calling this office and double checking (will need to wait until Monday, though), if you feel uncertain. Or check the BIA website.

Sakura,

You have to be in someone's else shoes to understand their situation but you will understand one day everybody has their share! Thank your for your advice.

I think its really cool that you had the presence of mind to apply for LOTR.
I also think it might have a good chance, if they HO even bothered to tell you to resubmit. They could have very well have said, lame application, denied. But don't get your hopes up.

I didn't mean you don't have a legitimate reason, of course it is exceptional, but you wrote before in your old thread that you left the category/rule section blank, so if you don't specify something to them, what can they do? They can't decide for you (or can they?)? Neither am I trying to get the reason out of you, but most people on this board know that, when they give as much information as required, they get a lot more help/information. It's not like we'd ever bump into you!

I appologise to you if I miscontrue your statement. I just wanted you to understand, yes I did not put under which rule I wanted to be considered this is why it was returned so I have 28 days to resubmit, I just have to redo my cover letter.

This is why we have the forum to discuss and to place our experiences so people can atleast get help, I am happy to do that.

Thanks!
