student visa to asilyum

Hello, i was wondering if anybody can help !! please. i am a colombian citizent who has a student visa, my father, who is back in my country, has been kipnapped and i wont be able to go back home yet, as my family situation right now is quite complicated, do u think there is any way i could apply for asilyum here in the uk? please help !!

Sorry to hear about your father .... hopefully released soon.

How long to go before your student visa expires? And near the end of it, ordinarily would you be expecting to apply for a new student visa?

And what about your finances? Does the kidnapping of your father now mean that you are short of funds, and thus unable to continue studying?

Just trying to work out the way forward. Of course you can claim asylum, but the question is whether that claim would be successful? While you can be here legally on a student visa then I see no need for you to apply for asylum, but what about in the future?

ohhh thank u for replying !!! well, my visa expires next october, i was obvoiusly thinking of renewing it before then, financially i am trying to work and pay for my personal things until all this is sorted, so i dont have to bother my mum, although it is so complictated as i was getting their monthly help. my mum is also planning to apply for asylium in argentina with my sister and brother, and i was thinking of doing the same here. i feel scared and sad, also concern about my family there, this is not the first time this happenes to members of my family. what do u think i should do? thanks for listening and helping!!

Do you have evidence that your father has been kidnapped?
Newspaper articles, govt circulars, police reports, any hard evidence to prove this?
