ILR for EEA dependant

Post by Edgar » Sat Jul 28, 2007 4:19 pm

I am an asian citizen but my parents are EEA nationals and live in Uk since November 2003 and I got a visa as their dependants from September 2004 and I have three P60s.

Can I apply for ILR ?
If so, What type of test I have to do in order to apply for ILR ?
What type of book should I study/ refer ?

Under the EEA permit (as a dependent) you apply for Permanent Residence (PR), not ILR.
However, you cannot apply for PR until you have completed 5 (five) years on the EEA permit, not 3. So you can apply in September 2009.
