UK passport renewal from oversea.

Hi everyone, this isn`t really an immigration question,but I can`t find any info anywhere else.
Has anyone any experience of renewing their British passport from overseas?
I`m a British citizen and I live in Brazil,so I completed the online application form and printed and signed the declaration form and sent it away.
I have just received an email from the Passport office saying that I didn`t fill in sections 1,2,3,9 and 10,which are all the sections required for a renewal.
Sections 1,2,and 3 are completed online and it is impossible to progress from one stage to the next if you haven`t completed the previous section,so this was definitely done.
Section 9 is the declaration from that was sent along with photos and previous passports.
Section 10 is for a countersignatory which I don`t need!
Has anyone else had similar problems?
