Non-British wife visit revoked

Post by civiram1971 » Mon Jun 22, 2015 9:55 am

My friend is experiencing a problem with her marriage for years now. Her husband is a British National but she is not. They are living outside the UK and have kids of their own who are both British citizen. Her husband had filed a divorce in the UK and is still in the process, due to some financial issues with the husband doesn't want to make any commitments on sharing their properties at all to his wife as stipulated in the UK law. He now applied a divorce in the Islamic way, calling himself a Muslim. Since they got married in a Christian rites and his wife not agreeing to the divorce in Islam, the case has been dismissed for couple of times. Still he kept on appealing and filing criminal charges (cyber crime, child custody for minor age kids) against his wife so he could get a divorce in Islamic way and dismissed the divorce proceeding in UK. Now he filed a revocation of his wife's UK visit visa to deter her from entering UK to attend the divorce proceedings.
My friend has no intention of working or living in the UK, she has a good job but the thing is what can she do in this case. To whom she will contact regarding this complaint of her husband re: revoking her visa just so she could not attend the divorce (this the conclusion hearing).

Pls. advice. Thanks...
