VISA CANCELLATION?

Does a new visa status cancel/overwrites a previous one even if the older one is still within its valid dates?

I have a valid student visa, but got a WP visa and I want to be able to use my student visa status now.

Can I do that?
If not, is there a way of canceling the new WP visa to switch back to old student visa?

The second visa replaces the first.

To go back to a student visa, you would need to re-apply with all the proof about fees etc.
