Sign in short interview

Hi
I logged in JR in September 15. Me & My wife is going to sign in for last 3 months. But when we went today they told me they gone do a short interview. But they didn't do today they said they will re argen again when we ask them what kind of interview they said about travel documents update. Can any one help me what is for this interview & what is the mean about travel documents.... Help me pls thanks
