that might be too late for me to answer in case u got the resident permit already.. i sent mine and my wife's on the 10th of september 2004 and got everything done on the 17th of december, which took 13 weeks as they said..
if u are unsure what's happening with your application, u can call the HO at croydon and they can check the prossess over the phone.
