Ancestral Visa

Post by evyn » Thu Jan 10, 2008 12:36 pm

Hi,

I have a couple of questions regarding ths ancestral visa.

Is it necessary to find my grandfather's parent's marriage certificate when I apply?

I have been advised to look for an employment agency that is willing to write a letter that states I am employable. Does anyone know of one that will?

Regards,
Evyn

Hi Evyn,

As long as the link is clear from your Grandfather through to you, its fine.

In my case my unbridge birth cert shows both my Mother and Fathers names and on my Mother birth cert my Grandfather is her named father.
So the linage is easy to follow.

In terms of employment, rather get one or two interview appointments, but I reckon a letter form a employment agency should do the trick.

Good luck!
