Money needed for Emigration

Hi,

After the HSMP is approved and we apply for emigration, we need to show bank statement and certain amount should be there in our account(say,few lakhs). Can you please let me know the minimum required in our bank account (for one person) and also what are the various ways we can arrange for this amount which are accepted by UK emigration officers. Please suggest in this regard. Thanks in advance.

Under 'Statement of Intent' click the first link-HSMP, there you would be able to get some ides. It's in page 11.

Don't try to get the money suddenly from your friend or someone else. If you move the fund now from your fixed deposit or somewhere else, then Immigration officer may ask you to provide the details of the fund transfer.
