Hi

Im a british citizen and i want to apply for a marriage settlement visa for my husband who lives in iran

im living with him now so im not working, therefore i dnt have 6 months work. But i have a little bit of savings in my account in UK

His brother who lives in UK wants to be the sponsor instead of me, like he shows his 6 months payslips and in addition we live in his house.

Does anyone know if this is allowed?

It's not allowed but accommodation can be provided.

Hi, i sponsored my wife in january this year. At the time i was living with my parents. I had an affidavit drawn up with my lawer saying that my parents support our marriage, will let us stay in their house and give financial assistance if need be. Your brother can not sponsor him. Only you can sponsor him. I did use 3rd party support but i also work full time...........

Im going to be starting a job in 2 months and i have a letter saying so.
and his brother also has a oath letter saying we can live with him and he can give us financial assistance. Is that stil not allowed?

I can apply after 6 months of me working but I just find it too hard to be away from husband for that long,

please can you help me out
