Immigration says pay £500 health surcharge - website says £1000

Hi all,

In short, letter from immigration says to pay £500 immigration health surcharge, but when filling out the online form, it says £1000. I understand fees have doubled recently, is it simply the case that when the letter was written, (several days ago) that this wasn't taken into account do you think?
