Correcting information on visa vignette

Hi guys,

Hope all of you had a fantastic long weekend!
Finally after months wait my wife's UK Settlement visa was approved, she applied from New Delhi India. We were quiet happy as we have been waiting for her to join me here in the UK. Unfortunately, we have just noticed the UKVI has messed up the visa vignette- They have put M instead of F under Sex! I checked the application form and I filled it correctly with Female under sex and so is the same on her passport. it is clearly an error at their end. As you know UK Settlement(spouse) visa application gets a 1 month vignette and then have to collect BRP from here in the UK, I am not sure how to get this corrected ASAP. I called UKVI enquiry service the one that charges- £1.37 per minute! but they also had no idea, the guy said he will escalate and get back to us via email within 15 working days that is ridiculous given the fact we waited so long for her visa and it is their mistake. I argued with the guy on phone and he said sorry we are just enquiry service and we do not have any information about this and we will get back to you..
No information available on the internet either, I have checked this website but still nothing.. there was an email service EntryClearance.Errors@fco.gsi.gov.uk that is mentioned here https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... ment-ecb19 but this email is also not working anymore, on sending email it bounced back saying the email address doesn't exist.
Please can anyone help what should we do to get this corrected asap without again waiting for so long.. I am a British Citizen and got married December 2018 and have been waiting for my wife to join me in the UK.
Is it worth going to British Embassy in Delhi but I wonder if they will let her enter without any appointment.

Seems no one has any information..

What if my wife travels on the same visa vignette with Sex as M and explains to the Border Force here when they ask.. show proofs that we filled the form correctly etc.. and let them know that she will pick up the BRP here and if there is same mistake then we will get it corrected in country.. Do you think that will be ok with border force at the airport?

I would travel on the vignette and if BF even bother to query it I would be surprised.

The bigger issue will be when you collect the BRP and it states male... but deal with that once she is in the UK

I am thinking of doing the same.. as the key thing for a person's identification is biometrics which they will check at the airport and I hope they will allow entry on basis of that
