I was refused my ancestry Visa two years ago due to a mistake on my application. It is my understanding that with a canadian passport I can visit the uk without a Visa. However, due to my previous refusals for ancestry( I applied twice)this will obviously raise the need for me to provide sufficient proof I would leave the uk after a short visit for xmas for 2 weeks. Has anyone experienced anything close to this before? Provided I can show proof of strong ties to canada does anyone know what the likelyhood of being allowed to visit would be? I'm flying over with British wife and child and am worried about being turned away.
