Visitor visa for my Mother-in-Law

Please can someone help

i am applying visit visa for my mother in law as we are going to have a baby soon and we would like her to visit us

we have already submitted the form and just struggling with two documents as per documents check list. Please can anyone share some knowledge

Evidence of assets
Documents showing that you own property or land, such as:Property deed / mortgage statements / accountant's letters / land registration documents
My mother-in-law lives in USA on green card since 2015. she donot have any property in USA and no mortgage. her original nationality is Pakistan and yes she do have a house deed in her name but that is in Pakistan.so not sure what document we can provide .. please advise

Yes she do have 1 daughter and son living with her in USA. She do not support financially any of them. Both of them are supported by father. she does work as teacher and she has her own earnings and saving and her application what we have applied is individual not replying financially on any one
what evidence we can provide for this supporting documents that she do have a remaining family in home country ?

One thing does make us confuse when they talk about home country. do they refer Pakistan or US from where she is applying as she has green card

It's a not a legal requirement to own a property or have mortgage in order to apply for visitor visa to the UK.

However, the rule of thumb is that the applicant must show strong ties to his home country or the country where he resides. The Home Office will test that before granting a visa. They need to feel that in the balance of probability, the applicant will leave the UK after his stay.

She doesn't have to have a property in the US, but it helps great deal if she does. If she is a tenant in the UK, that on itself doesn't trigger an automatic refusal of the visa to the UK.

Same for family ties. The more family she has in the US, where she resides, the better. Small children not travelling are usually better than non-dependent adults...

But after all, it's not an exact science. Especially if it's her first visit to the UK. Just give it all on the first application. Provide all the evidence that she has a good job in the US, stable life, commitments, family... so it will be obvious that she is not seeking to enter the UK to stay forever.
