Citizenship application - Will claimed benefits cause prob?

Hi,

I have got my ILR in Jan 08 and planning to apply for citizenship in Jan 09. After I got my ILR, I have claimed and reveived a couple of benefits like child benefit and job seeker's allowance.

Would these benefits be a problem when I will apply for the citizenship?

No, it shouldn't be a problem. You are eligible to receive benefits while on ILR, and it is not even questioned on the current citizenship application (Form AN). Read more here.
