Standard Visitor Visa

[asking on my friend's behalf]

I am applying for my parents visit visa. I have currently FLRM valid till March 2020 though I am in the UK for the last 7 years as a dependent. The application form requires my visa status. What option do I need to choose, temporary or permanent visa?
