Do I Entitle Any British Status

Post by haziq04 » Sun Sep 07, 2008 8:40 pm

I just want to find out whether do I entitle any right to stay in UK as my case is very complicated.Seek your kind advice, please.

1) My mother was born at Colony Of Singapore on year 1940 to a UK born mother which she did not register her marriage with my mother father when my mother was born.My mother father was born in Colony Of Singapore.

2) During the war times happen in the Colony Of Singapore, both of my mother parent left Singapore to escape and return to UK while my mother was left behind alone in Singapore and was passed over to someone to be taken care.Till then, both of my mother parent dissappear and did not came back at all.

3) As for myself, I was born on 1964 in Singapore when it has already gained independence. On my birth certificate it state my mother nationality as British Subject

4) After Singapore had gained fully independence around 1965,my mother was not eligible for Singapore Citizenship and she became Stateless while living in Singapore.Around 1970,my mother apply for Singapore Permanent Resident and after 1988 onwards,my mother got her Singapore Citizenship by naturalization.

Lastly,my mother does not have any birth record and I have the official letter to state these from the revelant government agency.
