BRP renewal for kids.

Post by rakesh5883 » Sun Nov 22, 2020 1:10 pm

Hi,

We all have been given a ILR and have a BRP.

For the kids , usually they give it only for 5 years. So my son is now 8 years , and old and we need to renew his BRP. ( BRP time was from 2015 - 2020)

Does anyone have any experience and can you please advice me on what documents did you give for this
  • Any passport you have held since you have been granted settlement, including expired passports
  • Evidence to prove your continuous residency in the UK since becoming a permanent resident
The document(s) you provide must cover every year since you became a permanent resident. Example documents include: council tax letters; letter(s) from a GP confirming dates of attendance; letter(s) from a school or college confirming dates of attendance; electricity, gas or water bills; or letter(s) from employer(s) confirming employment
For this point - I have a letter from the school confirming his school attendance from 2016 - 2020, and I am missing this information for an year, any idea what I could give please ?
  • Consent form for the Home Office to request verification checks on Mr "kids name" for joint accounts or third party support

  • Original document showing grant of settlement, such as a vignette, passport, or RON 60 letter
  • Consent form for the Home Office to undertake checks on "kids name"
  • Current Biometric Residence Permit
