Probably an unusual case: UKVCAS sent my daughter's BRP via TNT. TNT delivered to the wrong address, took picture of wrong door and said it was delivered.
Now TNT won't reply/stuck in their answer machine queue forever, and neither is the UKVCAS doing anything to help.
I have just escalated after 20 days of waiting (the first time UKVCAS just asked me to chase up TNT which I have been doing on Twitter endless phone calls but to no avail). Have waited hours on their line listening to the lovely waiting music but no one answers.

If TNT does absolutely nothing and continues to ignore for the next few days and if UKVCAS doesn't reply to my message, then I will have no choice but to say it is "lost" and pay from my own pocket to get replacement bRP.
BUT it has been stolen by TNT. As a matter of principle I want to file a case of theft against TNT who were responsible for delivering it safely, sent it to the wrong door, and are refusing to reply to my messages.

What further recourse do I have in this regard?

Has anyone else experienced similar?

Hello

The BRP was probably taken by someone as it was left in an insecure location. These days, they have tendency to drop packets and letters everywhere even when they are supposed to get a signature on delivery.

So at the moment, your card is in the wild. It can be use to steal your ID or carry fraud. You don't want that. You need to declare it lost ASAP.

TNT, they are not going to print another card for you or pay Home Office fees. So any procedure in this direction is just wasted time to be honest.
