Return to UK in last 6 months of valid visa

Hi,

I hope this is the right place for this generic question.

If a current spouse visa expires in August 2021 and I travel to India from Feb-April, can I still return to UK with less than 6 months of valid visa.

Passport isn't expiring anytime soon. So that's not an issue, BUT I remember reading somewhere it's either difficult or impossible to return to the UK with less than 6 months remaining on the visa.

Plan is to apply for ILR upon return to the UK in August 2021.
