I am on HSMP Visa in U.K and working as Software Contractor.
In April 2009 i am going for Permanent Visa(5 years stay in U.K will be completed on April 2009)
As i am self employed for my own company i am taking £7000/- as Salary per year and remaining amount has dividend does this will have any impact on my Permanent Visa in April 2009.
For getting Permanent Visa after 5 years stay in U.K do i need to Pay Tax ? or do they accept dividend as income

You should have paid tax on GBP7000 and also Dividend tax.
I guess submit:
1. All years payslips (atleast latest 3 years) and P60 forms with you.
They check using your NI no., whether you have regularly contributed to it or not.
2. All years original bank statements(including your personal and business).
3. As you are self employed, they may ask to submit your Company documents aswell.
4.All assessed financial statements from Inland revenue.
5. Your WP/HSMP Homeoffice letters.

All you need to submit is your continuity for 5 years in UK(with allowed no. of days of absences if any) and your economic activity.
