FAILING TO OBTAIN CRIMINAL RECORD CERTIFICATE FOR ONE OF THE COUNTRIES I LIVED IN

Hi. I need some help please.

I have my visa appointment tomorrow and I am meeting a big challenge.

I am required to produce criminal record certificate for all the countries I have lived in the last 10 years. One of these countries has made it difficult for me to obtain this certificate despite making the application and paying the fee 4 months ago as they required (They say it takes 3 months to issue). I have sent numerous follow up emails and even made numerous phone calls and still nothing.

What do I do in this case?

I am thinking to explain this in my personal statement and include copies of the email correspondence with the police and the Consular High Commission and also screenshot of phone call records.

N.B - When I moved to the UK from this country I did submit a criminal record certificate then (6 years ago). I have no prior or pending convictions.
