Cancelling a BRP renewal application, no documents submitted

I've recently applied to renew my BRP due to a pending expiry (I have ILR), but decided to just apply for naturalisation instead.

I want to cancel my BRP renewal, but the visa cancellation form provided seems specific to those who already submitted documents. I haven't submitted anything yet and I don't have an appointment for the BRP (I do for the naturalisation stuff).

Has anyone else done this before? Do I just use the cancellation form, even if it I don't have any documents submitted?
