Which Visa, For my Friend/Potential partner

Good morning all

A quick one here, I met a female friend during my recent trip to colombia, we became very friendly and i would like her to visit me here in the UK.
Which if any visa is the most straight froward to apply for, she works in colombia, I have read about a fiancee visa which is valid for 6 months, but i also read about a visitors visa, which one of these would more then likely bring a positve result if we applied, we are very good friends and could potentially become partners, but that is something we have yet to decide, any advice on this would be greatly appreciated

A visit visa is your only option. As the name implies, a fiancée visa is if you plan to marry, which I don't think you are planning?

and is a visitors visa difficult to obtain, and do you normally have to purchase and show a return ticket, if she as no funds in her bank account, as the pay in colombia is ridiculous, could i show my income and statements to show i would support her during her visit?

I just checked Colombians DO need to formally apply for a UK visa. You can sponsor her visit but the ECO might ask why.

On her own merits if she has funds and reason to return there no reason she would be denied.

Either way I'd advise applying for a visa for a couple of weeks, the issued visa will be a six month one, but all ur docs should point to a relatively short visit. Who can afford to holiday in UK for six months with no money and still have a job to return to? Sounds dodgy dunt it?

Thanks for that, as you said it does sound dodgy, if she applied for a visitors visa and says she is coming for say 2 weeks, and i will fund the visit, pay the ticket and accomadte her, will it still effect her because she as no funds in her bank account, even though i am prepared to pay for the trip fully, she would then have a job to go back to, and could get a letter from her employer saying they allow her leave for 2 weeks.
Would i also need to buy a return ticket to prove her intent to return, obviuosly, once she is here and things change, then that would be different, and her visa would be valid for 6 months

You would definately need to purchase a return ticket!
You say once she is here 'and things change'...do you mean that you may decide to get married and she would stay? If so, not possible I'm afraid.
Even if you were successful with a COA to enable you to marry in the UK, she would still have to return to Columbia to apply for a spouse visa...and you can't switch from a visitor visa to a fiance visa from within the UK.
