ILR AND HUSH HUSH!

Post by better_life » Thu Nov 13, 2008 8:32 pm

Its the funny world and UK is the funniest Country.14 year rule,if such thing really exist, means staying here legally or illegally for 14 years. So why HO if refusing ILR for 14 years on the basis that someone is working illegally during that period.someone might get into employment using his own NI regardless his immigration status or rather being successful of using his own identity for the job purpose(NI,Bank details etc.) and thus throughout his career (14 years) he is contributing towards NI and taxes that could be a little help towards British national seeking benefits or economic system under credit crunch and knowing throughout that he wont be using it or cannot use it towards his own benefit or betterment.(just imagining there could be not 1 or 2 but hundreds of them in the uk as hunching from some of the posting on this forum.
Also interestingly, about the strong ties with the U.K.,what else can be strong affinity towards U.K other than a person deliberately wanting to stay or staying against all odds and difficulties for considerable period of time (eg 14 years)just to get a uk citzenship only....could be a matter of british justice system to review over strong ties on contrast with just a marrige which in average dont even last for 10 years in uk average or childrens mostly ending up in social services, fostering or step parenting; leave alone migrating to the some sunny countries.
About the stirict immigrtaion rules and point system, how many of us using this forum dont know those who came in HSMP or those who are in post study work (or IGS) later switching to HSMP all to the road to ILR were successful to obtain the sufficent qualifying points or working towards it did or doing it with their earning capicity where for british graduate with British national, leaving alone the foriegn national with British degree, average earning no more than 18 to 24 k as fresh start.By here, I am not questioning the loophole in the so called strict system of British immigration rules but just asking for the opinion of the readers to justify this overall scenario where the country renowned in whole worldwide as father of human rights(heard of animal rights group as well) could boast in their recently implemented so called point based sysytem?
(P.S. no offence to those genuine minority highly skilled or graduates (extraordinarily talented IGS) for who U.K.is or never would be the only final destitnation.
and for 14 years extraordinarily talented ppl,i am sorry for your situation as this funny legal system is very hard to understand. But keep visiting ..as you are to receive further enlightening comments from our learned members.
