How to book appointment for biometric visa in Havana ?

I made an online application for a General Visitor Visa (for my brother-in-law) to come to the UK. The computer crashed while it was trying to tell me how to book the appointment for the interview and biometric enrollment. Now I cannot find any information about how I book the appointment online. Also I cannot find how to upload documents to the 'Commercial Partner'. Advice would be appreciated.

There should be link sent to your email address when you started filling out the form. You can use that link to go back to the application form, which will tell you what to do next.

I tried the link, and the information tells me to make an online appointment for a biometric interview, and to upload supporting documents to the 'Commercial Partner'. There is no clue given as how to achieve either.

Extensive googling shows that 'TFS Contact' and 'VFS Global' are commercial partners, but Cuba is not in their supported country lists.

I found this gov site which still provides no information on how to make an online appointment, but also says that it is possible to go to the embassy without an appointment Mon-Fri 11:00-12:00am. So we asked our Cuban friend to go to Havana without an appointment. He has now arrived and has been told by the security that he does need an appointment (so gov website is wrong !). It also appears that they are meant to send an email about making an appointment - I really wish this was mentioned somewhere !
