I have been noticing from a long time that people are not active on this forum and doesn't share much experiences about their visitor visa. However I decided to share the timeline for My brother's UK visa applied from Karachi, Pakistan.


UK VISA TIMELINE

Duration : 6 months standard visa
Intended Date of Travel: 07th May 2022
Country/Town of Application : Karachi, Pakistan
Online Application submitted on : 15-04-2022
Biometrics enrolled on : 21-04-2022 (Original appointment date was 09th May but we paid £51.48 for Premium lounge and done the biometrics)
Avail any premium services : Yes “Document Scanning assistance in £25.74” and “Premium lounge in £51.48” (Total £77.22)
Application forwarded to British High Commission on : 21-04-2022
Application under process at British High Commission on : N/A
Sponsor contacted by UKVI (if applicable) on : N/A
Got any consideration or delay email received from UKVI on: NO, Never
Made any Paid query via email or on phone to UKVI on: Yes on 06th May did email enquiry for which we got a reply on 07th May 2022
“Thank you for contacting UK Visas and Immigration International Contact Centre. Your visa application has been decided, contact us again if you do not get your passport by 12/05. Regards.”
Contacted with 'decision made' text/email from UKVI: No
Application issued email on: Nothing
Contacted for Passport Collection : 10/5/2022 via sms & email.
Passport Collection made on : 10/05/2022
Decision of Application : 6 months visa approved
Visa Starting Date: 28-04-2022

Total days it took from Submission to collection: 19 Days ( The courier took more time to deliver because of Eid holidays otherwise in actual we got the decision in 8 days. During the whole process we received following emails & sms messages on mobile.
