EEA Family Permit or Standard UK visitor visa

Hi,

I am traveling to UK in December with my family,
I am an Indian national, currently living in Ireland on stamp-4,
my wife is also holding an Indian passport, currently living in Ireland on stamp-4
My 2-year-old son, who is holding an Irish passport.
can anyone please advise which visa or permit we can apply, I checked on the UK visa website but it's very confusing.

The EEA Family Permit is for family members of EEA citizens resident in the UK before 31st December 2020 AND who are planning to move to the UK on a long term basis.

If your Irish citizen child is not resident in the UK, your wife and you need to apply for a standard visit visa.
