Hi,
I received my BRP card today with ILR status. I used the BRP number to check the right to work online. Even my new BRP number shows the same OLD working rights. Does the home office take some time to update this in the system?
Thanks.

Forum members state similar occurrence so it appears yes they do take some time to update.

That's weird.
I need to switch Job and my new employer is asking me to shade code for right to work.
What shall I do? Is there any other way I can ask them to verify this??

They can reach out to UKVI so they can conduct a Right to Work check, or you can contact them and try to get confirmation yourself that you can forward to your employer (see this post -
post2098464.html#p2098464)
Not a qualified immigration adviser. Use links and references given to gain confirmation and/or extra information.

I suggest that you call the support number for the service and ask them to fix it.
I got my ILR in Oct and facing the same issue!

Hi,
Yes, I already have called them and they said it'll take 15 working days to look into this issue.
Thanks for your suggestion.

Hi,
If anyone is in the same boat as me. You can ask your employer to submit a request to the home office for a manual right-to-work check.
Here's the Link:
https://www.gov.uk/employee-immigration ... ent-status
I did the same and my employer got a response within 3 working days.
I hope this helps.
