Name printed in reverse order on visitor visa

My mother recently applied for a UK visitor visa and her name is printed in reverse order on her UK visitor visa. Her family name is printed first followed by her given name. UKVI cannot provide any assitance in this regard and there is no way to connect with the local VFS office in delhi to get clarification. Can someone please help with some information on how to get this resolved? Should I apply for a new visa or can she travel with the issued visa? Any help in this regard would be highly appreciated.

It depends on how long she has before her intended travel.
What duration of visa she has. 6months, 2years, 5 or 10years.

Janet Jackson, becomes Jackson Janet. Not sure it's much of a problem. She can still travel with it. It's just a visit visa.

Thank you so much for posting the reply. She has 20 calendar days before her travel. The duration of her visa is 6 months.

She probably wouldn't be able to get that fixed in 3 weeks. You can start the process if you will, but if tickets are already paid for, it could jeopardise the trip.

She can make the trip, if asked at the border, she can say she didn't know and thought that's how they do things.
If she would be using the visa just once before expiration, perfect.

When renewing, she can say that the noticed the mix-up just after the entered the UK on close examination. So she hopes that it is rectified on the next visa application.
