I'm filling out the flr fp and it's asking me about my wife's ex partners. I have a decree absolute for the last marriage, but the marriage before that she doesn't know his birthday, or dates of the marriage. This was almost 30 years ago and she has no clue whatsoever.
How does this bear on my application if I cannot come up with this information? Can I explain in my cover letter that this isn't known or will that decline me? Because this app is for a family route and I'm married to a British citizen it seems to be veering of my path and heading towards a child or parent.
thanks for your help

Can you just say that she doesn’t remember?

Needs to be declared, put closest dates in form and explain in cover letter that exact dates can not be remembered.

Seeing how there is no possible way to obtain the information, your route makes sense, I just hope they understand. thank you
