eVisa query

Post by Vennelaravi30 » Fri Jun 21, 2024 12:06 pm

Hi,

I recently been contacted by home office via email to register for eVisa. I was preparing to apply for my ILR (Family route). So, I havent registered for eVisa.

I recently submitted my SET M application on 14th June. However, my biometric is not due until 11th July.

I again received another email from home office today asking to register for eVisa.

My question is do I have to wait for my ILR decision or can I register for eVisa while my SET M application is in progress ?

And if I register for eVisa now which will show my status as dependent and does it get autoupdated once my ILR decision is made with the new status on my eVisa ?

Please advise.

Thanks

My question is do I have to wait for my ILR decision or can I register for eVisa while my SET M application is in progress ? No harm in registering. You still have your BRP with you.

And if I register for eVisa now which will show my status as dependent and does it get autoupdated once my ILR decision is made with the new status on my eVisa ? We would have to assume so. No one here can give you a definitive answer. Not only do we not work for the HO, it's also a brand new system.

Please advise.

Thanks
No sin in failing, you just have to try and try again!
