Lawyer and client confidentiality

Post by yishan1001 » Tue Sep 10, 2024 12:33 am

My relative is going to apply for FLR in the future. He has not reached his 20th year, so he has concerns in having a full consultation with immigration lawyers. He is worried that he is still illegal at the moment, once he talks with the lawyers, he may reveal too much information about himself.

But even his status being illegal, he is protected by lawyer and client confidentiality, right?

Thanks.
