BRP is not detecting on UKVI Identiity check app

Hi All ,

My BRP (of ILR) was issued way back in 2014 and still has 1 month validity but when trying to enrol for evisa on the UK identity check app it is showing as not detected at the NFC step, I have tried multiple NFC antennas on both Android and idiot-phone, on three different mobiles, I am sure the NFC antennas on these mobiles have no issues as they are detecting others BRP's that were issued in recent years.

1) Does any one know of any workarounds that actually worked that i could try? (I have the old BRP card that has simcard like chip on backside - is this the NFC chip as well ?)

2) Also if any one has skipped the nfc detecting step on UK Identity check app for ILR BRP's, Do we need to send the BRP by post to Home office or Do we need to take one of those paid UKVCAS appointments please?

3)If the BRP has to be sent by post then what is the turnaround period from Home office for ILR BRP's please ?
