I’m hoping someone can help or has experienced a similar issue. I’ve created a UKVI account and am trying to verify my identity to complete my evisa using the UK Immigration: ID Check app. After successfully entering the connection code, it asks me to verify either by receiving a code via email or phone. However, every time I try, I get an error message stating there’s a problem with the service.
I’ve tried everything:
Using different laptops, browsers, and phones
Checking my email and phone settings

The problem persists no matter what I do. I contacted the Home Office over two weeks ago, and they said they’d escalate it to their technical team, but I’ve had no updates since then.
The deadline for evisas is 31 December, and I’m getting really anxious about this. Has anyone encountered this issue before? If so, how did you resolve it?
