Sponsor has no photo ID

Post by Tiddy1975 » Fri Feb 07, 2025 1:08 am

Hi all, my mother in law, she is 93 years old, British , and will sponsor my mother from Thailand for visitor visa, unfortunately, since her British passport and full driving license expired she is not bothered to renew them, as her age , now I am providing documents for my mother visa application, without passport and driving license what else documents that my mother in law could prove as a photo ID (I am not sure that photo ID is needed or just to prove that she is legally in the UK eg. pensions letter from DWP), Thank you.

You could still use the expired British passport, nothing wrong with that. Letter don't prove legal residency.
No sin in failing, you just have to try and try again!
