Outside UK Stay Limit

Hi Team

Could you help and advise on outside limit scenario in case of ILR and BC please.

a) Person with ILR status can stay outside UK conitnously for 2 years? please could you confirm
b) If person come back to UK for a day and goes back again then 2 years limit get reset? please could you confirm
c) Hope no explicit documentation or requirements to show at immigration while coming back to UK after long period like 1.11 months?
d) If person have British citizenship with OCI, then no limit on stay outside UK and no explicit requirements at immigration?

ILR status is normally lost if you are absent from the UK for more than 24 consecutive months (unless you obtained ILR via the EU settlement scheme). That is the only limit. There is no extra document needed to show upon your return, if your ILR is still valid.

British citizens have no such limits at all as they have the right of abode in the UK and they are not subject to any immigration controls
