E Visa help

I am sorry if this topic already exists

My husband now has an e visa as the BRP expired in December 2024

He has a share code - when we check the status, everything looks fine

However, he cannot seem to login to the e visa, it shows this error:

“There is a problem with this service at the moment. Service currently restricted”

Is this normal? And will he be able to get past immigration by just sharing the code? He is currently on holiday and due back to the UK soon

A share code is what he needs to travel.

UKVI also allow BRP card (expired) holders to use it to travel to the UK until 01/06/2025, in case he has his expired BRP with him.

The message seems to be a system's problem, it shouldn't be an issue for him.

I guess it was just worrying as he cannot seem to login - there is an error but the website may be down.

I will ask him to keep the share code at hand and also his physical BRP (the expired one)
