Visit Visa application for mum in Pakistan

Hello all,

I want to invite my mother to visit me in the UK for a couple of months. I will be sponsoring her and taking care of her expenses. Below is a summary of the supporting documents included in the application:




My Documents (Sponsor):

My last 6 months' bank statements and savings from all accounts. I have savings of about £2,500, apart from my monthly spending.

My salary slips from the past 6 months. I earn approximately £1,200 per month. I work part-time and have a permanent contract. I am also attaching my P60.

I am a single parent with two children. My mother is visiting the UK to support me, de-stress, and build family ties.

I claim Universal Credit to supplement my earnings; I am attaching this as proof of income.

My tenancy agreement and proof of regular rent payments. I am not behind on any payments.

My proof of immigration status and share code.

Utility bills and council tax bills.

A letter from me stating that I will be sponsoring my mother.

A valid passport.

Family registration certificate showing my relationship to her.

My Mother's Documents (Main Applicant):

Her bank statements from the last 6 months. She has approximately 500,000 PKR in her account.

Her national identity card and passport.

Photos with her children and husband with timestamps. Most of her children live in Pakistan, apart from me and another daughter.

Family registration certificate and identity cards of all her children, showing their current addresses in Pakistan.

Property documents of the house she lives in (registered in my father's name).

Flight itinerary showing return tickets as well.

She does community service in her area and teaches children. I have photos of her doing this, but no official documentation to prove this.

My brother's wedding invitation card. The wedding is scheduled soon after her return to Pakistan.

All her family, including siblings, are in Pakistan. I can provide photos for this.

A letter from her explaining the purpose of her visit and confirming that she will return to Pakistan due to her responsibilities.

Her and my father’s marriage certificate.





My Brother’s Documents (Co-sponsor):

His bank statements (last 6 months), showing he can contribute approximately PKR 150,000 towards her trip.

A cover letter explaining why he wants our mother to visit me and confirming his financial support.

His employment contract and CNIC.

Please let me know what additional evidence I can provide to strengthen the case.
